Hello friends,

I am just wondering if anyone can help me.
The Airbag failure and its light are on in my first used car Fiat Stilo 1.6 16V 2002.

I plugged the emulator or the sensor under the passenger seat but nothing changed and the emulator still red flashing.

What can the problem be?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Borhan

Does it tell you which airbag is causing the problem, as Stilo's can have either 2,4,6 or 8 airbags depending on spec.

Really I don't know, I am waiting my multiecuscan.. but a friend told me 90% passenger seat.
And I am wondering why the emulator didn't become green if is no problem with the seat?

The emulator is just an after market device to bypass a faulty passenger weight sensor in the seat. I have one on one of my Stilos. On mine, the LED stays red when ever the ignition is switched on.

As above, there could be up to 8 airbags, plus 2 airbag exclusion key switches and the passenger weight sensor. Best to wait until you have MES to diagnose where the fault is.
