Dear Stilo Gurus,

I was having an annoying problem with the AC. 2002 Fiat Stilo 1.6 Dynamic with automatic AC... So there were always some strange things with the ac, but lately it stopped working - checked everything, and there was 0V at the compressor plug (engine running, AC button lighting up), so checked continuity of the wiring from plug to T5 relay (no prob) and other, black-green wire. I checked wiring diagram and I am not hundred procent sure that is the ground point the C40 or C16?! Anyways, I added an extra earth cable for the compressor, and now it works. Problem is, I wanted to fix the original ground point, but I don't know precisely, where can I find it - maybe other accessories also use that.

One more question about this whole AC situation: the cooling performance of the system has never been extremely efficient, it's OK, cools down the car, but I'm not freezing to death. XD

I bought the car in 02.2017, used the ac how it was, and then refilled it in 05.2017. The garage (pretty unsympathetic guy) told me, that it was low on gas, X gram needed. I drove off, tried it, and an unpleasant rash noise appeared, which wasn't there before. Bearing like noise or something, which was only noticeable in a shallow RPM range (like between 1400-1750). Despite of this, the system was working fine, was a bit cooler inside. Since then the noise got a tiny bit louder, but now, after the earth point fixation, it's still working... Where should I start, what should I examine? Do you think that most likely it is the compressor itself?

Also checked MES AC error messages and there was a pollution sensor problem. Should I worry about that, or it will only just paralyze the option to close down the recirculator flaps, so it will be open for a few seconds / minutes...?

Thanks for the help in advance!

from what I know you must also put some special oil when you fill it with freon gas or else there will be some problems.
