Well I see with all this fantastic weather that our wipers are getting a good testing

Now the intermittent wipe speed adjuster. Is it just mine or is the delay between wipes a bit of a joke? At the quickest it's about 1/2 sec break between wipes therefore hardly worth bothering and at it's slowest it's about 4 secs and we have the need for two settings in between?

I made a superb intermittent wipe unit once for a car that didn't have one which gave variable speed adjustment from a useful 2 secs to 10 secs- now that really made life easy

The intermittent wipe just isn't intermittent enough to be worth it so I'm back on manual flick wipe most of the time

I can feel a mod coming on:)

Maybe I'm just very lucky but mine performs spot on. If I think the auto system is too fast/slow then I just select one of the other sensitivity settings (unless already set).

The wiper delay on auto ranges from fast wipe (no delay) to what must be as long as 30 secs or more.

Well I'm hoping it's just mine because last night's rain was showing the intermittent wipe to be tiresome. On fastest it is a useless 1/2 sec delay so you may as well have slow speed wipers on and at its slowest it is 4secs. I hope it's adjustable somehow

If you have nothing better to do then do some counting on yours for me for the slowest and fastest int wipe settings to compare

Deckchair5 mine seems to have the same three useless settings about 2 seconds on lowest and 5 at max on highest of three possible.

Cheers Hornet
2 seconds though? I could do things with 2 seconds. My quickest wiper delay setting is 1/2 yes a half second. No delay at all. You blink and they go again. Somebody messed up at the design stage

I think the intermittent wipe on my Stilo was spot on.

On it's quickest setting, it was perfect for when 'always on' was just too much.

The other end of the scale was just fine also.

Now my new Audi's intermittent wipe is crap! On it's slowest setting it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to slow. The quickest is still too slow.

I agree with Lead. My wiper speeds are perfect for me. The fastest setting is perfect for light drizzle when the continious wipe is just too much.
