I'm currently in need of a new boot carpet for my 3dr Stilo.. I recently got some damp in there, and the underside is rather mouldy. The previous owner carried plants in the boot too, so the topside is a bit mucky.

Does anyone have a part number for this?
I tried eper, but with little success finding it..

Tried contacting the sellers on ebay breaking Stilos, but no luck so far. (A combination of no, and no replies)
Looks like I might need to go hunting for a new one. Let's hope it's not too expensive

Been getting used to ePer latley

Not sure of the spec your running but look here:

Fiat » STILO » 2V STILO F.L.L. 2003 (2003-2007) » 705 INTERNAL TRIM » 70521 MATS » 70521/00 CARMATS

Two part numbers - one is for cars with the hi-fi system (probably amp and sub in boot).

Also - you will be looking around 150EU +

Hope that helps,

Br,
Dan.

Thanks Dan, I think I was looking in the interior paddings category :bang:

150 is a lot though.. looks like I won't give up on the breakers quite yet then..

Problem with breakers yards is as the cars get torn apart the carpet can get exposed to the elements and suffer a similar fate to the OP's carpet, so finding a tidy piece from breaker can be difficult!

I'd say you have two other options....

You can buy the stuff off the roll on eBay. Obviously I can't guarantee quality but it's there and available to buy by the meter.

Or; head down to your local carpet shop - yes your average household carpet shop - as they will usually have a roll ends section selling off cheap little bits of carpet for no money at all. Pick one you like, suits the colour of your car or theme you're going for or whatever.

In either case, you can use a bit of upholsterer's chalk and the existing carpet to trace the shape of the old one on to the back of the new piece and cut it out.

Depends on the carpet you pick if you take option 2 it may fray over time but i can't see that being a big issue unless you're always going under the boot carpet and moving it about. Although there is the option of having it bound at the edges that may add to the cost rather but you can always have a set of car mats made to match if you've got enough material.
