Ok found the guide to time the engine and also followed it with the kit instructions to the letter and all was well till 50 mls further and car died , after stripping it down found the belt stripped at the crankshaft pulley so I assumed that the timing was out or the tensioner has failed or the camshaft sprocket has slipped . All the torque setting have been adhered to.
What's going on , have I misjudged the crank pulley setting and I am 180 out ?
I used camlocks and piston alignment pins and they were both level before setting the tensioner to final setting.
Been advised that the gasket could be the wrong way round, blocking cam oil way?
