Has anyone had any experience with this combo? I have had the pro kit on for about 20000km (the car has done 65000) and the handling is getting progressively worse. What is the average life span of the oem shocks? and are they really compatible with the eibach springs or do I need to get bilstein or eibach shocks?

any help appreciated

Yes the pro kit is roughly a 30mm drop, Eibach reckons they are designed to work with the oem shocks, but mine obviously need replacing. I have also found the oem shocks to be very 'soft' in fact too soft for my liking. thanks for the replies.

I also was told by Eibach that my 35 drop Eibach springs would work with OEM shocks, I even got new OEM shocks for the Install. The OEM Shocks lasted 6 Months before needing to be replaced.

I got Koni Shocks and all has been well for a year or two.

Get sport shocks to match your sport springs. You'll notice the difference and end up spending less money.

A bloke I was talking to today recommended the eibachs, he also said if I could afford it to get the bilstein shocks as well! Don't think if I'll be getting them just yet though looking at the links he gave me earlier they're really expensive. :(

I know some one who used to work for eibach in the engineering department.

I'll ask for his opinion if you want an engineering definitive answer.
