Hi all,

I recently bought front and rear disc upgrade for my 1.4 active from MTEC. I've fitted the fronts with no hassle however, the rear discs i bought don't come with a bearing or center hub part. They are just the outer disc with a hole in the center.

My question is, do you transfer the bearing and hub part from the original disc onto the new one & if so how do you go about doing this? (they appear to be welded into position on the original)

Thanks
J

The rear discs should look like the front discs, just smaller.

They bolt to the hub (via 4 bolts) which contains the bearing. The hub itself fits onto the hub shaft.

It sounds like you just need to belt the disc with a mallet, to dislodge it from the hub.

Post a photo so we can see what's going on before you start spanking the car though.

Hammer was the answer, thanks. What i was seeing was actually rust build-up around the perimeter. Once i hit it, the disk flew off. I've both sides done now. Cheers
