Hello all, did eny one tried to install a ac on a non ac stilo? The one i have is the one with non ac with turning buttons, and the spare car has a ac with buttons and display! Everithing will fit pipes and main unit, but i noticed that there are sone missing plugs on the non ac one! Do you recon is possible an upgrade? If someone did it can you please advise me in regard of those plugs?
And the second thing is the spare one hase controls on stering wheal, can i put that on the non one? Thank you

Retrofitting climate control - no. Technically anything is possible but it's far too complex and involved for people to want to make the effort. That and second hand values of stilos these days it'd end up costing you more than it'd be worth to just buy one at the spec you want.

Large amount of labour involved too as you identify wiring loom is different as I believe is the box that distributes and directs the air that sits behind the dash, so it'd be a massive strip down effort.

Just leave that well alone and put up with normal air-conditioning.

Steering wheel controls, on the other hand, are much easier to retrofit.... See the guides section.

hy all...I've got a UK donor car with climate control unit on it...and the runing one a European one without ac, climate etc, just turning nobs.

things that I've done to runing one:
1. swapped the whole interior
2. swapped the engine, with ac compressor and the radiators
3.kept the runing engine ecu
3. removed the entire dashboard wire loom from donor car, including the matrix unit and the control climate dashboard

things that i have some douths about:
1. witch connectors do i have to use for the compressor, and the sensor on the pipe
3. can i swap the European dashboard wire loom with the UK one ( identical )
4. do i have to use the UK engine ecu for the compressor to start ?

any ideas or anything to add please do

I've done it with that thread that was posted before...but i find it much more easier to relapse the entire loom rather than just a few wires.

Update: found the presure sensor plug! Done but the donor car has a orange and white wire in the matrix conection main and the running one missing? What can it be?

3. can i swap the European dashboard wire loom with the UK one

Dashboard wiring looms are likely to be different for left and right hand drive cars.

The only orange/white wire I can see in the climate control wiring diagrams is for the Air Quality Sensor (exhaust gas sensor).

Ok, so not mandatory one! Am I right?
The compressor is all ready plugged in! Has all the plugs connected! Do i have to replace the engine ecu? With the uk one?
