Hello everyone,

As you may know, there are severall topics about this problem, but most of them are from another actuator. Although they were helpfull at some point, it doesn't seem to fully help my problem.

https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/240001-climate-control-airflow-issue-broken-actuator-2.html

My climate control doesn't seem to get the airflow where i select it to go to, so i start digging in the right side of the mid-console. This actuator does work.

So i moved to the left side of the cabin and found 3 more actuators which doesn't seem to work! When i set the climate for an example to the feed it doesn't move, but when i carefully rotate the white gears shown on the picture below i can feel it blowing the correct direction.

So my guess is when i replace one of those (or all of them depending on the following reply's) the problem will be solved, right?

I already tried to unscrew one of them but i can't seem to get to the screws. Does someone have any ideas? Or do i have to get rid of the entire steering wheel column?

It must be more difficult on your left hand drive car. On UK RHD cars, they are easy to get to. Pictures below may help you. If the steering column is in the way, use a Torx bit with a small spanner.

Thanks for the fast reply, i suppose it must be a difference for LHD indeed..:bang:

As for the 3 of those fine peace of technology, which one do i need to order, all 3 of them, or am i able to look this up in multiscan?

It's more difficult to change the pollen filter on RHD cars. :bang:

Yes... you can test them with MES, but it could be just one of the small plastic links broken, so the motors would turn but the flap(s) wouldn't. You would need to remove the motor(s) to check the links.

I assume you've already tried the reset procedure?

Haha, yes i noticed that last time replacing it ^^

And yes, i tried to reset it by pressing the 2 buttons on each side and resulted in 2, i watched the gears run on the right side as supposed to, but at the left side theres no action at all, so i assumed the're broken. Better to check them before buying a new one. Is it important to write down the current position of the gears before removing it or does it self-learn and reset it by itself?
