With the clocks going back, I've found myself fumbling to get the key into the ignition on a number of occasions. It was only recently, that I suddenly remembered why I should find that so annoying  I'd just remembered that my old Rover used to illuminate the ignition switch during the entry phase :) and I'd automatically assumed the Stilo would have the same feature (seeing as it lights just about everything else).

This would seem to be an unfortunate oversight during design but just to make sure I haven't got a duff bulb - would anyone like to confirm this?

You should have a few seconds of light after the doors shut aswell, i usually use it to find the power button for my headunit!
I wonder if your solution might solve this problem too ?

I get this a fair bit and wonder if getting the ignition turned on a bit quicker might resolve it - although I think it's more likely just a chance affair of where the wheel is left i.e so it can lock easily.
