[!]I have just phoned Stoneacre again as they are supposed to be carrying out some work on my car. It was booked in two weeks ago, I left the car there all day and on collection it hadn't been done as they didn't have the part.
[V]I have since phoned them twice as they promised a call-back as soon as the part was in and they could do the job. Two weeks, no call back!
[?]I phoned them again today and they spoke to me as if I was speaking another language, they had no idea or no recollection of any of the events to do with the job, perhaps I had been abducted by Aliens and I imagined my conversations. I explained the situation to them and they said the Service Manager left last Friday and made lots of promises and appointments to customers but failed to log them as he had issues with Stoneacre. After this conversation, I'd say this new Service Manager was more clued up, he was also polite and helpful, which is unusual for this dealership.
They have apologised and re-booked my car in for the work to be carried out. I hope that with a new manager at the helm, service at Stoneacre improves. I'll let you know how it goes.
