Its more annoying than a problem, the clutch pedal is high to engage and long also,is there a way of adjusting the bite and length/hieght of the pedal.

Hi Simon,

What engine you got?

As said the clutches are hydraulic these days, so they don't need or have any adjustment, so that said the peddle shouldn't really give any noticeable change. Admittedly wear and tear there will be some very minor change over time but not that you'd notice. It could more likely be the clutch fingers wearing but that doesn't necessarily mean the clutch is nearing end of its life.

I wonder if you might have a leak in the system that's drawing in air or something? The cylinders do wear over time but that's not typically an issue as they get replaced with the clutch. Maybe keep an eye on the brake fluid level just in case.

Have you had or do you know if the brake fluid has been changed in recent history? Should be changed every 5 years I think and that will make a difference, might be worth bleeding some fresh fluid through to see if that makes a difference to how the peddle behaves?
