hello there
i have lost one of the keys supplied with my stilo , a bit dumb i know ,but these things happen when you drink vast amounts of stella !( car key and house key on same ring so no grief about drink driving ,i do know better) so has any one replaced said key and do you know the cost . any help will be welcomed

If get a new key cut of a dealer it will then need programming into the code 2 system and remote system. The lost key will then not be able to start the car. Or you can get a clone of the key which will only start the vehicle but not the remote and the lost key will still be able to start the car.. K.K.S Of bolton , do cloneing of keys i think, do puntos ect stilos???

To get a new key, you must go to your dealer, present the unique car code given to you and let them do their job (as if the do it ok). They order a new key from the factory by giving that code and the factory programs the key for your car imobilizer. The cost as much as i'm concern, varies. It's between 20pounds, for the normal one without the remote control, and 50pounds.:)
Tough luck. Next time drink less or walk to the pub. :p

You do not need a special code all you need is your chassis number to order a key, and the dealer can get the special code of NVSR as long its not an import. Poeple who have this special code there cars are normally imports and have not chassis numbers on windscreens.

thank you i will contact my local fait dealer
ps i did walk to the pub :Dand as i said house key was on the key ring so i slept in the shed and boy was it cold :(

There is a possibility you don't have to order a key from Italy.
As i heard, there are generic keys (that don't have the lock schema on them) and when you give either you card code or the chasis number they use a machine to make the key and to program it for your car. In this case you will pay less and it will take less time to get it.
Hope this helps!
