So, it's not like 4 release keys into the 4 radio removal holes and then just pulling outwards?

If it's the Abarth Connect Nav+ unit, there are 2 holes, (1 to the left of the CD slot and 1 to the left of the CD eject button). Use 2 pointed rods (round nails?) about 75mm long. Push 1 in each hole until you feel a resitance, then push them in another 5mm. The CN+ should then pull out.
