Bought an 04 jtd stilo yesterday
To replace our Multipla
The car is great apart from the display
The mode button accesses 2 functions only
Setting the speed (in km) where the car beeps and exit menu
That's all that the mode button allows
The wording on the Lcd display is Italian and the odometer shows km
The odometer and clock and date are constantly flashing
I can't access anything to change them
Am I being thick or do I have a problem?

It's really annoying
The wife has trawled the web and I've been on here for about an hour searching but to no avail
Can anybody please help

Oh I forgot the radio has to be turned on and off manually too
I've read this can be changed in the menu using the mode button too but seeing as though my menu has only 1 function and is in Italian I can't change that either?

This is normal behaviour for a Stilo fitted with the Connect Nav+ unit. In which case all the settings except the speed limit warning, can only be adjusted via the "SETUP" button on the CN+.

If the car doesn't have a CN+, then it's likely that the previous owner removed it and fitted a standard radio before you bought the car. In which case, the settings can be restored to the "MODE" button with MES (Multiecuscan) via the "CAN Monitor / Vehicle Settings" - "Adjustments" function.

As the mileage is flashing, it may also need the Proxy Alignment procedure carring out.

Your mechanic won't be able to do it unless he has MES or the Fiat dealer Examiner.

If you add your location to your profile, someone on the forum with MES may offer to do it for you.
