I have a switch next to the gear lever marked "City".. which I guess switches on super-light mode for parking etc...?

There's also a mystery switch behind it with no markings. It feels like there is a switch in there.. just I presume it doesn't do anything. What's it normally used for?

Also... there's a blank third "switch" which isn't a switch, just a blank. What's in that position when it is used?

Why does one unused switch have a switch in it, whereas the other un-used switch has a blank?

The fully populated switch panel includes: CITY to lighten steering effort, ASR to switch off Anti Slip Regulation (traction control) and AUTO to change between auto and manual gear changing on versions with the Selespeed automatic gearbox. Normally you would only have the switch buttons for whichever of those items are fitted on the car. The rest should be blanks.

So my unlabeled switch would be for "ASR".. though I'm fairly sure it's not connected; It looks plain.. there's no built-in little warning light and no writing on it, however faded.

I might pop it off and have a look to see if it has any wires attached to it. If not, it'll be handy to wire the switch for some electrical accessory I haven't thought of yet. :D

"Auto" - is a blanking plate, so no worries about that one - just curious what would go there.
