Hello good people,

I've searched for this kind of thread, but I couldn't find.

Basically, my headlights are pointed pretty low, but the right one (passenger side) even lower. So, today I tried to rise it a bit, to make it equal to the other, left one.

I did rise it quiet a lot, but it couldn't reach the left headlight high, even the patterns were not same. So I continued to unscrew the adjuster and eventually, I guess, it came out from the inside mechanism.

It was dark and I needed to move, so I turn it a little to the opposite side, and it felt like it was attached again, but I'm not sure.

Now, I have a few questions:

1. If it's not attached, what I need to do to attach it again?
2. Why the left headlight couldn't reach the right one high?
3. Why the patterns were not the same?

Thanks in advance.

Is worthwhile checking the headlight bulbs are fitted and seated correctly as if not it may be why the headlight aim and pattern are causing problems, another cause could be one headlight could of been replaced so also worth checking both are similar in lenses style and both dip to the correct side of the road for the country it is registerd to.

1) Probably remove the headlight (which you have to remove the bumper to do). you run the risk of damaging the reflector attempting to do it any other way :(

2) because its not attached, the auto adjuster is stopping it or the bulb isnt installed correctly.

3) incorrectly installed bulb
