Well, the deed is done. It's time to say goodbye to our Fiat Stilo.

When all is said and done, we've enjoyed owning the car. We've not had any major problems, not like some of you. A few niggles, yes, but on the whole ok.

It's been in the Autotrader for the best part of a month and no one has called. No one has responded to the for sale sign in the car window either; so it looks like the dealer is getting it.

We pick up our new Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI S-Line tomorrow at noon.

I've taken the CD/Radio out and removed the badgeless front grille, which leads me on to my next point.

I was going to put them on Ebay, but thought I'd offer them to the Fiat collective first.

The grille is a merkur one and is in very good condition except for a couple of the clips. The centre bottom one snapped off when I removed it and two of the top ones chipped a little. There is still enough meat on them to attached soundly though.

If I remember correctly, it cost me over £80 at the time. If you're interested, either PM me, or post here.

I'm also going to sell the CD/Radio facia plate. Again, it's very good condition and I'm open to offers.

I'll clean it up and get a picture. :D

I've just checked the Merkur website. It's 109 Euros + P&P = £75 + P&P. Bear this in mind with any offers. The way I'd prefer to do it, is negotiate on price of item, then buyer pays postage themselves.

I was thinking of creating a thread, linking to this one, in the styling section and maybe the classifieds. Or do the Moderators not want thread duplications?

I'll take the floor mats out too, if anyone is interested in buying those.

The rears are near perfect.

The passenger slightly worn.

The driver's worn a bit more. Looks fine from above, but underneath shows wear. (Where your heel would rest, while toe on pedal.)

£5750 for mine, but discount on the Audi was less.

Without p/x he took another £850 off the Audi.

So I worked out I needed £4900 or more private sale to be better off.

I have one day to sell the Stilo, so if someone wants to offer me more than £4900 and can wire the cash over immediately, it's yours! :D

That's a nice looking machine there, I can't believe you've had no interest. £4900 is an ok part ex I guess, how many miles? That grill really smartens it up. I'd have considered having it off you if I was "allowed" to buy a 3 door car; that said I really need a JTD.

Had it from new, registered May 2003 - it's done 17,400 miles.

I see significantly more 5 doors than 3. So I think demand is lower. Which is confusing as I don't think the 5dr looks that good.

I don't imagine the Audi dealer will put it on his forecourt, it'll probably go to auction. So someone, somewhere will be getting a great car for a great price.

Hey, that's the same colour as mine! Shame to see that one go, looks like a good example! (y) Might be interested in the grille if no-one else snaps it up before me!

Very nice, Quality motor (y) I wouldn't want one myself as I don't like any estates to actually own, but I certainly can appreciate it ;) Looks lovely, best of luck with it pal (y)

Are you gonna be sticking with us here on the forum ?

I'll still pop in now and again. You never know when you can offer comments or words of advice. :)

But I am now a member of an Audi forum, so will probably be there more often.

The new car is a joy to drive. It doesn't feel at all bigger. But having the extra doors and boot is great. Oh and rear parking sensors are cool! ;)

Currently in negotiations with someone from this forum.

I still have the mats and stereo facia up for grabs.
