Hi Robin, Welcome to the FF.

Are you fitting factory Xenon headlamps to a car that has normal headlamps?

Or are you fitting normal headlamps to a car that has Xenon headlamps?

The extra connector goes from the automatic adjustment Electronic Control Unit (M73) in the left headlamp, to sensors (K1 and K2) on the front and rear suspension. It is an EU Regulation that vehicles fitted with Xenon HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps, must have an automatic method of adjusting the headlamp beams.

It is also an EU Regulation that vehicles fitted with HID headlamps must be fitted with a method of cleaning the headlamps. On the Stilo, this is done by fitting high pressure washer jets to the front bumper and a larger windscreen washer resevoir with an additional high pressure pump.

hello,

Thank you for the good information!

I think i have a challenge because i have no washer jets:(, but the connection that i not have inst that the reason that the xenon did nothing?

End the other light did it only not the xenon?

Robin

I think the wiring to the round connectors on Xenon headlamps may be different to normal headlamps. The left headlamp is the master and the right one a slave, so the 2 headlamps need an extra control connection between them. There is also an extra earth connection to Xenon headlamps for the master and slave ECUs.

Check if the metal sockets inside your headlamp wiring connectors are in the same positions as the metal pins in the Xenon headlamp connectors.

So it is not plug and play to fit these xenon headlights?
I have the connector for the height sensors and the round connector has all pins wired.
And I found a set of xenon headlights for sale for really cheap :).
