Hi folks! Need some help! My cam belt snapped yesterday after a 200 meter drive from a service!! Now... Presuming that it's salvageable, any recommendations on other work that may aswell be done when it's all apart? I know a water pumps advised which will be done, but what about aux belts and the like? Luckily I have a few days off work, spent all the weekend valleting it inside and out so gutted is an understatement!
All helps appreciated!
Cheers

Deffo worth replacing the aux belt. Water pump useful, particularly if your car's done lots of miles. Strongly suggest you get the correct cam locking tools when replacing the timing belt. However it's possible you will have bent some valves...

Yeah I understand that, just praying not to many valves are shot or too much damage has been caused!! I'm right in thinking it's an interference timing configuration am I not? Cheers chaps
