I so epically want to do this so badly!!! The applications and abilities are limitless!!! I have the surround as I currently have a doubled din dvd player. Hmmmm please do a full guide on this for me to refer too!

I was thinking of this could you please show how you got the charger to work and can you connect to speakers in the car as this would be great to replace my USB stereo and sat nav that I currently have on my windscreen thanks

Guys you can be generic android double din stereos from about £150 that'll do the job properly.


I have one in my Audi although this one has a specific facia for my car any generic double din one will work. That runs 3g mobile data, digital TV, reversing camera, connects to house wifi, runs google maps, has tomtom gps on it, runs torque for android to give a dashboard, does Bluetooth etc etc etc - it's a digital equivalent of a swiss army knife.


You can also get a WinCE headunit that has a specific facia for the Stilo if you wanted - that would / should give you some pretty sweet options too. This may well give you some cool options like MultiECUScan mobile or even MultiECUScan dashboard which would be cool.

i would rather buy a cheap MSI mutlimedia PC and run windows 10 on it to a 7 or 10inch touch screen lcd, windows CE is very poor and doesnt have much support, its a compact embedded style O/S aimed at HHT'S and other things such as wise terminals, hospital bed tellys etc.

for a car, hook up an invertor and buy a cheap MSI multimedia box, smaller than an xbox and smaller than a slim ps2 etc.
Much more functionallity and you can chose the spec you want in it.
they also use laptop RAM so its rather cheap to upgrade and install an SSD then you will be very happy, you can have multiple screens too...#

If i had the cash, this is what i would do - and have 3 screens, two in the rear, one in the front.
