How easy (for a moron) is it to debage to the back of the car?

I've had a body shop reapir garage tell me its just as easy as peeling them off and polishing.

And no, I didn't go into a body repair shop just for that. I had a bit of an accident and the n/s back has, um, well a bit of a "scratch" :(

I'm actaully too ashamed to post pics. My beautiful beautifull car has a boo boo.
They quoted me £800 to repair it (but I found a garage that will do it for £250)!

If you search the forum you'll find theres many posts about this easy mod, and when i say easy, i mean easy.

Personally i used a hair dryer to heat up the glue and used an old loyalty card to lever them off with. Just polish after to get rid of the sticky stuff left from the badges...............easy peasy!

£800! thats alot of money, what you gotta have done to it?

Removing of a dent, fill and respray.

17 hours labour mostly £500 which I spose is quite cheap for 17 hours labour. But the bloke near me said he could get it done in one day and was shocked that the other garage charged 800! I think its becuase they do insurance work and can charge what they want.
