Insurance £12 month. Wife and me, full NCB
Tax £15.75 month
Fuel £15-£20 a month. Average 55mpg and not used much.
Spent last 12 month £300 on it to fix all niggly parts so looking for next 12 month trouble free.

How come the tax is cheaper than my 1.2 petrol? I am £189 for the year DD. My pug diesel was well over the £200 mark.

£78ish for 6months
£145 for 12months
£12.57ish per month.

It's done off emissions so all I can say is that my JTD is more in love with polar bears than you 1.2 lol.

My 2.0 Scenic petrol before this was £149 for 6months lol

It could be worse on road tax I was looking at another stilo yesterday for a future car and come across this

If I had money I'd snap it up but insurance is really dear for me so sticking to my current Stilo for a few years but this kind of car will definitely be my next to get (shame they stopped making stilos as id love a brand new one, one day :( but I guess if your willing to spend lots of money your car will last forever)

But then I saw how much it would cost to tax a year...

And oh my god! I think road tax on a lambagini would be cheeper lol

Yeah, I looked at an Arbarth about 2 years ago but at the very last mo I went and bought a Jag XJ6 instead, seeing that I am really glad I did because it was on a P plate so old system lol

37mpg??? I think someone was high when they wrote that up lmao

My car only does about 29mpg I have to put £10 in every 3 days easy and that's travling a average of 60 miles every 3-4 days it's only a 1.6 and I don't thrash it either as I plan to sell the car to my girlfriend if she passes her test before then in September I'll sell it when my one years insurance is up so hopefully it's cheeper for my next car :/ costs me a bomb to have the car and run it but I wouldn't choose any other car there too loyal to betray I've had 3 cars since I passed

1. Vox corsa 1.2 - £250 - engine went up in smoke while driving so scraped it. (Had it 2 days)
2. Pug 106 1.1 - £500 - dash was faulty so brought a new one from scrapyard only to find out the air bag cables where cut, the head gasket was blown when brought it but quick fixed to sell on so scrapped (Had it 2 weeks)
3. Fiat stilo 1.6 - £1112 - it's had 2 new head lights (had it 3 months)

So fiats are the way forward to me wouldn't mind a lambagini but come back to reality it's got to be a fiat for me

hmm,
insurance - £165 fully comp
tax £145
fuel - approx £60 per week, (i do between 500 - 600miles per week for work)
repairs etc - cost of parts i do it myself.

the stilo oil burner is a dirt cheap car to run, she just blasted another mot as well.
next car will probo be either an alfa or jag xf but this is ever moving goal posts, but the old gal will be staying until she lets me down or costs to much to repair.

£165 insurance a year? I'd of paid more in 2 months and I've only got 3rd party fire and theft :( can't wait until my insurance is that cheep :(

And she'll be lasting you a few more years by sounds of it then!

car as sig

Mods:- to be dropped 30mm on uprated shocks at the weekend (as long as the parts arrive)
Ins:- neither here nor there really as it differs soo widely
tax: £18 per month ish on DD
fuel: tank a month, doing around 3-400miles. mostly local around town.
running costs: so far mine has averaged around £200 per year. i do all the maintainence myself so no labour in that ;)
