Hey everyone i know this sounds hard to believe but my stilo has broken....... again first it seemed like it had no power then fuel consumption went through the roof and then about three days ago it seemed like it wasnt firing properly so off it went back to the dealer again the dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty ignition coil this was replaced next day and now it is back it runs much more smoothly it definately has more power right to the redline (not that i ever get to the redline he he!) and the whiplash inducing judder from cold start seems to have gone thought it was worth a thread as this seems to be a subject that gets mentioned a lot. (y) think the stilo might have to go now though to many problems passed! (n)

Oh good, another coil pack failure....

Trouble is, driving around with one failed is not good for the CAT - you can usually tell straight away that the car is only firing on 4 cylinders, or less.

My last Stilo Abarth went through three new coil packs before they got it sorted! My neighbours thought it highly amusing every time my pride and joy went off on the back of a breakdown truck!

On another note, I also suffered poor fuel economy and kangarooing and it turned out to be a phase variator. Got it changed with just two days left of warranty(£359). Now the car pulls perfectly from cold and seems so much smoother when warm as well.
