I was at my friendly neighbourhood Fiat dealer this morning and found out that Fiat now offer the Schumacher GP Kit as a factory fit option on the Abarth too! If you ask me, the Schumacher version should had been an Abarth in the first place - is this change of heart is down to public demand? (okay, maybe not )
Anyway, as the GP kit uses Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks, I asked them if it would affect my warranty if I had these fitted as a personal modification. They said that it won't affect the warranty if a Fiat dealer does the installation. So, I asked how much and they quoted about £1000 all in!
Oh, and they were insistent that just fitting the springs without the shocks is a bad idea. Mmmm?
