I have Fiat Stilo Active which i bought slightly damaged the only thing which we can seem to get to work is the radio the radio is working but there is no sound out of any of the speakers this car use to have a genuine sud woofer box in the back but the last owner took it out i am wounder is this the problem any ideas!!!!!

Hi

I posted a "Stilo Stereo Diagnostic" string in this part of the Forum that will allow you to test your speakers from your stereo.

Stilo 1.6 Dynamic, 5dr, 2002, Crystal Green

i have run the test no sound out of any speakers so i toke one of the speakers out and tested it directly to radio with a piece of wire and it worked i still think the system is looped back from sub woofer in back if anyone noes for sure could they let me know

IS the mute button pressed.
If not can you can you get audio from a CD.
If you can then suspect the aerial connection as you will have no audio if the signal is weak from the
Transmitter or a faulty aerial. Most likely a faulty aerial.
If neither of the above apply connect another speaker
to the radio. Easiest way is to splice it into one of the speaker wires at the back of the radio. This will
save you having to remove a speaker.
If then there is no output it may be that the audio output stage of the Radio has gone.

If you have option 718 (the alleged Bose system) all the speakers are rerouted via the rear subwoofer-box and amplified there.

Just wondering why the previous owner took it out.. to scare away birds? Frustration?

Abarth 3d Black Moire + 17" + cdc + "718" + Sebring TS4
