hi when i get my stilo, (still looking for a silver jtd with skyroof) ive been thinking about getting a body shop or somewhere that will, to make the mirrors fold in automatically when i lock the car or put the alarm on , as i live on a road that the traffic comes about a foot away from the car and everytime i park the car up i have to fold both mirrors in as the other one will get kicked off by drunk people walking home from the pub! could someone please tell me if i can achieve this and roughly the cost??? thanks alex

No idea of cost, or by looking at the units, possible.

I live on a main road but I rarely park on it as i have permission to use a car park opposite.

All I do know from looking is that those who folded their drivers mirror in to stop traffic knocking it off, got the bodywork dusted as people drove closer, and still had the mirror done in.

It seems cheaper to leave it out!

Its often better to leave the mirrors folded out! Your average drunk vandal will pick on cars which appear to be cared for, and therefor the owners will be more upset when they find their car that they've lovingly tucked in for the night with its mirrors half way down the street.

get a garage...

We got a tandem garage, for security purposes, just after we bought our house.

After a couple of weeks of jockeying cars in and out, we got fed up and just left them on the drive.

The garage is now so full of cr@p we are scared to go in it.
