Hi guys
silly question, in 11 years of ownership ive yet to replace a MAINBEAM bulb, not head light done 100s of them.
Could someone tell me what bulb it is so i can just whip them out and replace without having to do the usual get them out re assemble then pull apart again when i have the bulb.
Euros are only listing H7, so im thinking it maybe the same bulb as the the headlights.
many thanks
roy

so to get this 100% correct, the lights you flash are h1 and the ones you use everyday are h7?
thanks for that, ive not changed a bulb in a year since i put in the long life bulbs (best thing i done as i was blowing them every 3 months - mostly night driving).

Edit, just ordered a pair of osrams long lifes for £8.28 on amazon, that should see the car out...
now i just have to remove the bumper to get them out, never done that before....

Is possible to do through passenger side wheel arch if you not fancy the rusty bolt routine that hold the bumper on..do not exactly have small paws myself and have managed to replace headlight motor this way leaving battery and tray in place, .two pozi screws hold motor in place, then bit of a tug to pull out of plastic lug in light housing.

just finished the job, bumper off, replaced bottom diffuser.
Replaced the sidelights with LED bulbs, main beam and fog lights with osrams longlife (i replaced headlights last year with these and they have been fantastic), and indicators with standard orange bulbs.
and most off all replaced both adjuster motors, one was stuck in so that explained why my beam was always pointing to the ground.
Im impressed with the LED sidelights, there is a slight blue tinge but they look cool (bit like the car did when new). i also replaced the number plate bulbs with LEDs - i should have done this years ago.
