Am thick i don't have my V5 due to reg changing so where is the VIN number, looked through all my books and can't find it got a chest infection so thats my excuse

the VIN number is etched under the drivers floor mat. Youll see a small black flap, if you lift that the VIN is etched into the chassis

Ta mate, thought it was that but wasnt sure, he just needs it for a RAC check
