Well it looks like my car is going (Yellow JTD) for £8995, all is looking good even the guy aint looked at it, only through photos.

The problem is that i have a private reg, and this guy wants the car this friday, so basically am stuck cause the dealers always do this for me.

How quick can dvla do this?? and what do i have to do

If you go into your local DVLA office, which I believe is Manchester, they will do it there and then. If you already have a car to put the plate on then there is a charge of about £80, if not then you have to put it onto retention for up to 12 months for £105.

I have no idea how long this would take in the post.
