Hello everyone,i have a strange problem with my 04 jtd multiwagon heater blower that i would be grateful for any advice on,it has climate control with an lcd screen and 2 knobs either side.

the problem first happened a few months back when the fan didn't work one morning,later that day i drove over a large pothole and hey presto it came back on.
all was good until early last week when it decided to pack in again but this time it would work briefly when i turned left or right at speed (ie. entering and exiting a roundabout, then on Friday night i got into the car and it worked perfectly for a 20 mile journey but after being parked for a few hours i drove home with it only working when turning again,it seems to be linked to the pitch and roll of the car rather than the steering because with the car standing still, turning the steering from lock to lock has no effect,please help !!

Hi all,for anyone out there that may get the same problem, i think i may have solved it, i stripped the motor and found signs of one of the brush wires lightly rubbing on the com and the brushes were quite worn giving an intermittent continuity reading across the two main wires so i popped the caps off the brushes,removed the springs,ground down a couple of nuts to fit one behind each brush, replaced the springs and caps,cleaned the com with emery cloth,reassembled and refitted and all is now working fine but due to it being an intermittent fault only the next few days will tell so if i don't post to say that i have had further problems then it can be considered fixed,thanks and good luck to you all , Eddie
