RE: repacing radio with sat nav and heater with climate control

Hi guys,

I have no idea if this will work or not ..

In my current car I have the standard CD player and Standard heater controls.

If I buy the connect sat nav and a climate control panels from someone who is breaking a Stilo, is it just a case of taking the old ones out and plugging the new ones in?

Or is it not that simple lol ...

My model is the 06 1.9 150BHP Multijet

Cheers.

Keep in mind the Climate Control system uses a different blower fan to aircon that has its own chip on board (and it's pretty pricey - around £120). It's not simply a nicer control panel, it uses all these sensors and servos to move the air around the car - including testing quality of the air somehow . . . Additionally, even you rig up some wiring and fit the fat, the panel can read error codes form the car so there must be some coding on the ECU. Sorry Pal - I reckon it's a no go.
