I drive a Fiat Stilo (2004). I have just purchased the Hauck Malibu travel system for my baby who is due in few weeks. I love the travel system but was saddened to find out that it isn't compatible with my car! I have looked at other baby car seats and can't find anything that seams to fit. I live in Great Yarmouth, Norwich and need to figure this out quickly as I only have a couple of weeks until my due date.

When you say "not compatible" - are you referring to ISOFIX?

There are some good car seats available that rely on the cars seatbelts. There are pro's and con's of both methods.

I used a mamas and papas primo viaggio car seat with surefix base in my 3 door Stilo and fits fine. It uses a base that remains in the car which is secured down with the seat beat. You can then release the car seat out quickly .

ISOfix all the way, it saved me sorting the belt out and if i needed to take it out it just unclips out/in.

they cost a bit more and you can get an ISOfix base for most carseats. plus there safer

Go for Isofix. Genious concept. I still have two Isofix seats in the rear for my kids.

Yep ISOfix car seat base is what you should look for

my girlfriend is due now in a few weeks so i bought a baby elegance travel system then bought the ISOfix base seperate for 100 euro

EDIT: what exactly do you mean by it doesnt fit?
theres more than enough room in mine for a car seat and ive a 3door stilo

Stilo is isofix compatible so any car seat with isofix base can be used.
