Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, just would like some advice! I have a white 3door fiat stilo, bodywork is in amazing condition, however, the engine isn't! I have spoken to many people about what could be wrong with the engine, and most come back and say there is a misfire in the third cylinder.. anyone had or have this problem?!

I have just had a brand new car through work, but seems a shame to scrap this car as it looks so nice! I have had diagnostic tests, first one said it was the cam centre, second came up with the cylinder thing. It had new spark plugs as well, and new coils.. I'm not the best with cars! but if I knew what to do to fix it, instead of having to scrap it that would be great! alternatively if anyone wants to take it off of my hands if they would like to fix it then let me know!

Can anyone shed any light? don't want to keep spending money on it without knowing what the actual problem is!

Thankyou!

Hi, Welcome to the FF.

The "cam centre" (cam sensor perhaps?) and "cylinder thing" are not known diagnostic terms. ;)

Ask whoever did the diagnostic tests what the actual fault codes were and post them here. We may be able to help you then.

For sale items are not allowed in this section of the forum. If you're looking to sell the car, you can post an ad. in the classifieds section of the forum here: https://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=28

Do what's necessary to get it going. It doesn't sound serious. You probably have the only white Stilo in the UK (if that's where you live). The only other white Stilo reported here turned out to be foreign registered.
