The control valve is at the end of the inlet manifold, your plastic induction pipe goes to it and there is a valve on the side that controls the flap between the plastic pipe and the aluminium inlet manifold, they get clogged with carbon you will need to remove the 3 bolts and two torque screws holding the control valve that is connected to a pipe and using a flat blade screw driver unclip the plastic cup off the ball, also you have to remove two allen key bolts for the EGR valve that is attached by the way of the 90 degree steel pipe, the flap inside the housing should be nice and free. Also check EGR not clogged with Carbon, That is a bit tricky to remove due to pipe underneath it. also check the pipe going to the little control valve you remove to ensure its not broken or has a hole init. Hope that helps ? it is not that bad to do, the EGR is connected to the control housing and has a black solenoid with the plug on the end and that gets badly carboned up and sticks as well, look on you tube it shows you what it looks like and cleaning it with brake cleaner and WD 40 plus wear rubber gloves as it takes weeks to get the carbon off your hands.
