I removed the battery in my Stilo to replace a blown headlight bulb. When reconnected, the dash is dead except for the airbag lights. The car still starts and all electrics seem fine. I've checked all the cables and they seem fine. Anyone any ideas where to look next?

Ok, on the face of it, this looks like classic stilo dash failure. Fuses 53 &37 are ok. The cluster earth point beside the battery are ok. Apart from the lights behind the heater controls and parking light switches (which presumably are fired up by the cluster), no other electrics are down.

Also using MultiECUscan, I can't get comms from the cluster.

Anyone any other suggestions for where to look next?

Assuming this is an ethical question to ask, is it possible to get mileage correction software to adjust the mileage on the replacement cluster above, which is 40,000 miles more than what was on the original cluster. FES will not allow mileage to be rolled back. Is there a software package available that will allow the mileage to be adjusted to what it should be?
