My ABS fail light is beginning to light randomly. On engine start up it goes through the normal checks ok. Some days, even weeks, its fine.

The majority of time the the bulb does lights up when driving is when the vehicle has been travelling at 50-60mph for 30-90 minutes. Its only ever done it once around time but that was preceeded by a motorway journey.

So you see the only common denominators are the travelling at 50-60mph for 30-90 minutes.

Can anyone give me some helpful suggestions please?

Does the dashboard say anything when the light come on? I.E ABS failure, EPS failure etc? And when it comes on does it happen as you press the brake pedal or randomly?

Display reads ABS Failure. Comes on randomly (usually about 60mph) and never when brake pedal pressed.

Does this help?

My abs failure warning light is due to excess wear on the abs wheel sensor o/s rear(dont need a fault code ;)) yellow light on rev counter on constantly
