Getting in a right flap.my stilo flew through mot really but failed on emissions cut of 0.3 on co2 mine was 9.99. Really need some help or advice on how to reduce this fast.had 2 new lambdas few months bk so cnt b that there was a dodgy seal on the before cat lambda so we sorted that but im not convinced that is going to reduce them down to the required level, got retest tomoz : /

are you sure its co2 and not co
havnt had petrol for a few years but id assume a new air filter new spark plugs and a bottle of injector cleaner wouldn't go a miss.
not sure about cat converter, I know you can get cleaners for them also that go in tank
oil change used to be just before mot also but I think that was more to lower hc readings.
some one else will soon help out im sure.
people will also have more idea if you post up all the emisions data you have for all the readings 02, hc , co, co2 etc

wow that's some fail, I don't remember getting figures that bad on twin40 carbs.
whats the service history regarding filters and oil etc?
did the garage give you any pointers as they see the most readings and im assuming retests when fixed.

Had service 5 months ago was ment have retest this morning but cancelled it . and yeh thats the original. Checked filter its still like new.since I had the car 6 months ago its had 4 new springs.2track rod end.2link stablisers.2 new cv boots.2 new rear bushes.2 new lambdas.new map sensor changed every light bulb on it even had the dreaded airbag light which I sorted with the bypass.u name it she had it.ordered yesterday manifold outlet with cat . Another 4 new sparks had the ngk ones as heard they are good and ordered another map sensor due to the code still coming up on my diagnostics.going fit all new bits when they arrive and book retest.she flew mot on everything else didnt even have any advisers. She just failed emissions .give her a revving in the drive Saturday and all this black stuff flew out and splattered up my wall : / do u think that cud b related.i am a lady so some of this stuff is over my head so sorry if I confuse anyone : )

Didnt get a sheet this time.he just said they were perfect now . All I no is they had to b below 0.3 and mine were originally 9.99 so they dropped dramatically didn't think id ever get em down lol
