I went to look at the Stilo at Desira fiat and the man told me that I wasting his time as he said he didn't think I had the money I'm 21 and I've been working at the Royal Mail for 5 years he said if I wanted a test drive I would have to show him the 6K first or be VERY COMMITTED first!

The thing that makes me laugh is they saw me drive in my Sei and valued it at £1500 earlier in the week! and said just ask if you want a test drive!

What!! I'd go back and rip him a new arsehole!

Then again, it took me 3 goes to arrange a testdrive in a Ulysse, a car that cost me over £20k when we purchased it.

I would ask to speak to the director/senior manager of the business, and not some sales assistant. Failing that, drop FIAT UK a line

I told him I wouldn't commit until I at least test drive it I reckon he thought I was someone with no money. It shows the difference in salesman I went last week and they were begging me to take one for a test drive but I was wearing my uniform

Find out where he lives - and voila, no more post for him

Ask to test drive a Stilo, but you want a fully trainer customer advisor or the manager to accomany you with the :tosser: sales man in the car with you, so he :tosser: can learn how to do his job propperly.

If it was not for customers like us, he would not have a job!!

Specification: Stilo 5Dr Hatch 1.8 16v Dynamic They seem to have lost 2 of the doors.

I would ask to see the sales director about the :tosser: In sales the customer is king ...regardless of what they look like.

I'm in sales and we treat eveyone the same if they are spending £10.00 or £10K ... I would have been sacked for speaking to a customer like that!

lol I tried the day before the online booker it doesn't work. It makes me laugh Suziki have been begging me to take a jimny for a test drive for the last couple of weeks as I was interested in one but decided it was too small.

Despite being Fiat, that number seems to be answered within a couple of rings and believe it or not, the human on the other end seems to know a lot of stuff and be on your side!

I had the same problem when i bought my car just because i have dreads. So i went somewhere else and got it. Then i went back to the original dealer to buy some mats, just to show em they could have had a cash sale and the look on the guys face was priceless Mug

Phone Fiat and complain. Also, try the motoring press (Autoexpress would like this onwe) or you local rag. You may even get the Stilo for free as an apology (stranger things have happened).
