Anyone know what are the measurements for a factory fiat 1.6 wear measurement? my discs seem to be grinding even though there is alot of pad material but doesnt seem like the discs are worn out enough in my opinion to need replacement? what does fiat give as a measurement to be changed.

i looked at oem brembo disc sizes and theirs comes with 22 mm thickness

i assume is the same size as a fiat one but i measured 23 (maybe the rust bloated the iron) edit : found on elearn their 22 mm factory.

anyways i measured a wear of about 2.5 meaning

20.5 if i go with the rusted outside unworn ring or

19.5 with the brembo factory new measurement.

my question is does this constitute needing to change discs cause i seem to get a grinding noise sometimes while breaking hard. btw my pads are only half worn out

Grinding noise from front or rear?

Are they solid or vented disks?

Do they have a large lip on the edges?

grinding in front under hard breaking only solid fiat original discs, there is a lip but it doesnt seem their at their end yet thats why i measured so you guys can give me advice. Also pads are only half worn out.

Nominal thickness: 21.8-22.1
Minimum thickness after grinding: 20.55
Minimum permissible thickness: 20.2

All measurements in millimetres.
