Hi all,
New to the forum so hello to all!... now to the problem
Tried changing my radio from the factory fitted radio to a Pioneer DEH-1400UB.
I'm having a problem sorting out which wires go where, have I got this correct:
Stereo Side:
Yellow Stereo -> Connects to Red Car
Red Stereo -> Connects to ignition (orange wire near steering wheel)
The above will allow me to have the stereo powered and only on when the ignition is on?
I couldn't get any power to the new stereo after trying the above and also trying the other method of having the yellow stereo to yellow car also with the red stereo attached to the yellow car too. Still no power.
So i gave in and put back the original car stereo, only to find that I can't seem to power it up at all, then noticed that the AC/heating screen isn't powering up and no noise from any of the buttons. The inside cabin lights aren't working either.
I thought it could be the F39 fuse, changed that and still no luck. Any ideas?
Any help would be brilliant, meant to be travelling this weekend and without any form of sound would suck!
Thanks in advance,
Tom.
