Hi my partners stilo was re-gassed a couple of weeks ago by a local garage , however it's not cooling as it was.

I had a look at the condenser expecting a leak there but no leak until I noticed green oil around the A/C low presssure is this from the A/C system , if so do the pipes have gaskets that can go ?

Thanks in advance.

errmmm...are you sure it isn't just the pressure switch that is leaking? it only takes a couple of turns or some grime to allow it to leak out - I changed mine recently, and you have to turn it real quick to avoid it squirting coolant everywhere, so maybe yours is a bit damaged-looks rusty...?!

however, no gaskets, its O-rings, so you might be able to replace them but you will have to have the A/C emptied first as you simply cant change an O ring down there without taking the pipes off and emptying the system all over yourself. Could be the O ring is perished so the two joins are not tight.

check the pressure switch first though.....!

Thanks I'll nip up the pressure switch and clean off the green oil and see if it returns.
