Hi , i have a red fiat stilo 2006 1.4 16V 6speed 47.000 miles so shes basically as good as new however when i look at her she looks standard and fading from the top , makes me feel sad seeing this happen to my first car which i love .
so basically i was wondering where can i get a abarth body kit and some decent alloys or is anyone willing to swap wheels ? I need tips and help

Is that your Stilo in the pictures? If so then you already have the Abarth kit :p

17s or 18s are your best bet, they'll set your car off best, I want to see some fit Abarth 500 wheels to their Stilo!

Looks like we'll have the same engine soon :p how is the 1.4 unit to drive?

Haha well then i think i've mistaken it for the schumacker body kit ? is that right ?

That sounds good i'll have a look into that i need lowering .

Yeah the 1.4 is not to bad at all drop it down a gear or two and put foot down and it gives it a good kick , yeah id say decante better then any other 1.4 haha but cant stick with it for ever ;)

I'd recommend popping into Halfords (or similar) and getting some Turtle Colour Magic polish. It's coloured polish, and brings the colour back to life. It's really good stuff, about a tenner a bottle. Should help bring the faded parts back to life.

It turned my Stilo from dull brownish back up to red!

Before (it looked duller in real life) and After:

Oh thank you very much, i'll pop in first thing in the morning and i'll try it out. I appreciate that haha saved me spending £900 on spraying but I was thinking of going white but I still love this colour .

There's always Abarth wheels on eBay :) and they come with Pirelli P Zeros as standard so not too shabby :p

Yeah the Schumi body kit is completely different and ten times better than the standard or Abarth kit!

You should de-wiper the rear window, it tidies up the rear of the car, I'll post a pic when I get home :)

I like the 1.4 sounds good, it's a mild step up for me :p got bigger plans to either Tjet it or as another forum member recently pitched to me - supercharge it :p But with engines this size it's best to concentrate on the handling and looks - full front and rear upper/ lower chassis braces are available and coilovers will make the handling tight and lower it as much as you dare ;)

Haha I am gonna end up spending so so much money on this car because I love it , yeah ill have a look at them on eBay but very keen on 17" or 18" Oz superturismo.

Yeah I've see pictures and I really like the schum front bumper it's makes it look so much better , it's a must and I've found one online and it £465 which is insane and way to expensive .

Hmm ill admit it is a fast car for 1.4 and the way it picks up , what do you recon I should do to give it a kick , is it possible to stick a turbine on her ? Can you supercharge these ?

Lowering and tweaking needs to be done for certain going round a round about doing 50 is basically drifting haha scary but fun. Makes the corsa crew look like little kids haha

I've been looking into that recently, as I've been looking for alloys, but it turns out the offset of the Abarth 500 wheels are ET35, whereas the Stilo is designed for ET41.
Don't think you could use spacers, because that way round they would stick out too far I think? But either way, not a direct fit unfortunately. (n)
