Hi,

I'm wanting to colour code my door handles, but I cant figure out how to remove them, for painting is there any guides on here I have had a look but no luck. Help!?

I also want some angel eyes, but cant seem to find anywhere that sells them for a stilo (n), again any help would be appreciated.

one last quickie, does a leon front splitter fit a stilo with no mods?

Thankyou, Matt

Assuming you have a 3 door, to remove the door handles, there's a round piece of plastic covering a torx screw which secures the lock barrel in place. See attached image*, highlighted in blue. Carefully, loosen the torx screw, do NOT attempt to completely remove it as its fixed in place, you'll end up rounding off the head! (Been there, done that (n)). Once loosened, you should be able to simply pull the lock barrel out. The handles then can be slid back and out.

Ive put the cupra splitter on, it requires about an inch cut off either end and the middle uprights need to be trimmed about an inch aswell.

Ill post some pics when i get home, imo its the best mod you can do to a Stilo, and its soo easy!

Let's just say its do able but my god was it hard, if you don't have the patience just even think about it. It took me about 3 hours to split both of them!!!

Heating them up impossible! The plastic melts before the glue!! The only way I found was might sound about savage but a blade, hammer and chisel lol  literally just using a blade to try a split the sealer and a chisels to try and run around the edges!! Wow it was blood sweat and tears aha! If you do attempt it you will break some of the plastic and little lug things but all alright when re sealing!

Was it worth it in the end yeh makes it look like a different car!!

Here some pics

PS sorry sharpy stole your painted part in the middle of the bumper :slayer:
