Hello.

Has anyone out there extended their warranty with a Fiat mastercare product? You can extend anythime withing the first two years. I'm thinking about it as my car is 2 in July and will have 36K on it by then. Will be keeping it at least until finance runs out when car will be just over 4 years old so an extended warranty seems wise!

Cheers,

I'm certainly thinking about it myself. With having a selespeed i think it would be a wise move for me and i'm gonna do the car up so i intend to keep it for maybe 4-5 years.

How much is the extended warranty then ?

I'm thinking about it too but I thought there were issues about how much is actually covered.

I extended my Punto (a 2000 model bought about 4 months before they gave you 3 years cover :( ) for years 2 & 3 and it cost £299 but at least it covered me when the cambelt snapped and the waterpump failed.

Just done my Stilo Abarth with www.warrantyworks.co.uk 'cos they were the only ones who would cover the satnav. (BUT you have to tell them that it's fitted.)

It was about £220 for 2 years cover with a single claim limit of £1000 (Should cover most eventualities I hope)

Mines got the extra year (I just started it) I am wondering if it will cover the cold clutch judder I get ? - I'll give the warranty folks a ring (They have been quite helpful in the past TBH).

Hi.

I get year three as the less comprehensive dealer warranty. To get the mastercare you need to complete the coupon in the service book. I'll try calling Fiat first and let you know.

As a civil servant, I've just covered my wifes 63K Astra for another year through the CSMA for £219.00. Prety much everything is covered inc. MOT insurance. They cover cars up to 10 years old with less than 70K on the clock.

Cheers,

Wow that sounds like a bargain (y)
I just want the peace of mind you get with a good warranty.
