Iv received my leads and run diagnostics. I went through clearing the old codes stored in the memory and these are the ones remaining which still come up. Anyone shed light on how to fix them and location of the maf and iat sensors? Cheers guys (slowly starting to win the battle):D:beer:

MAF if you have one is located viewing from front of car near front right side down exiting airbox electrical connector on top and had 2 jubilee type clamps to fix onto tubing, electrical connector has yellow clip plastic to hold it in place mine snapped when I removed it but not effect anything with holding it in place..
Do you have the error codes multiscan sometime gives advice on them to point in right direction also when on the errors tab of the software

FAULT CODES

P0110
P0101
P0380

if your having problems when the car is running and suspect the maf is causing these and possibly some of the error codes you can remove the electrical connector on top of the maf and try running the car with out this connector in place to see if the car runs better you may get error showing but this is to know if it is your maf that is at fault before buying one..plus you now have mutiscan running to clear and look into any future codes...
How does the car start presume it is a diesel..do you get glow plug warning on the dash.

Glow plug warning flashes up and beeps at me but after a few seconds it goes out. Twice iv tried to start car and it turns over but wont fire then after a few tries it works? I'll take a look at taking that sensor off. Any diagrams where it is etc? Complete newbie lol. I'm chuffed with multiecuscan though fair play what an amazing piece of kit!

Sounds like glow plug issue which think you know and fault will keep appearing at start up till fixed have read of guide below..may be time for new glow plugs or the relay playing up
https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo-guides/151734-dealing-preheat-fault-message-stilo-jtd.html

for maf stand front of car look down on right side of car under battery thick tube out of airbox is maf has the oblong connector on top do not think any other thick tubes with hard plastic item there so quite easy to find try running car with electric connector off and see if it runs better that is if you are having running issue..may also need egr clean

Ok will look into it my mate! Thanks for the info! Very helpful! If your down this way I owe you a pint!

FAULT CODES

P0110
P0101
P0380

P0110 = Inlet Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction.
P0101 = Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem.

As the IAT sensor is inside the MAF, both of these faults relate to the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor connector is shown arrowed yellow in the diagram below. You need to slide the lower part of the connector to the left or right (can't remember which) then pull the connector upwards.

P0380 = Glow Plug/Heater Circuit "A" Malfunction.

There's a guide to testing the glow plugs here: https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo-guides/151734-dealing-preheat-fault-message-stilo-jtd.html

EDIT: Added the pic.

Just got round to going to pop the sensor off and guess what.. It already was! Kinda half pushed in so I assume someone's messed with it and not put it bk properly! Gave it a spray and popped it in with a click from the yellow lock bit. Plugged in mes anddddd fault gone!! Bargain!! :D cheers for the help Dav!
