I was wondering if i could get some help ... I recently checked my oil and water and when i closed the bonnet i noticed that the lever inside was in the pulled position even though the bonnet was locked into position.

I then tried to open the bonnet to check the cable / lock and have now snapped the inside bits of the lever and the bonnet will not open even when just pulling the cable.

Any ideas / videos of how i can open the bonnet from the front ?

Try pushing against the cable outer sheath where it is closest to the bonnet catch (if you can get at it fom underneath the front of the car).

The mechanism breaking is a common problem. Pull the cable with pliars and it will open (usually) It's a pity someone doesn't market one made of something more substantial than plastic.

I had to jack up the front and reach for the cable and pull it, it worked, but I need the plastic bit for the inside
