I had to change my side light bulb passenger side as it was out on my 2004 3 door 1.6 active sport... I got big hands so took the battery out change it put it back in connected black first (which might be my problem) then red turn ignition on i get nothing on the dash except the lights for the airbags when then enngines running nothing at all revs time date etc etc please help as my mot is tomorro

May have weak battery try charging to give power needed to energize dash

it will deffo be battery, i had this last week took it for a drive, parked up left over night been fine ever since

I get the 2 airbag lights on the right hand side... It was fine before i took it out :s checked the fuses f37 i think it was. Its really confusing me. Thanks for the reply

no worries, yeah i had it something to do with re-energising the dash, if teh battery is not well charged

yeah I agree, check and charge the battery-it could just have been weak enough before being removed to cause this issue-these cars are sensitive when it comes to batteries!

O right... Well hopefully it will be ok in the morning gave it a good 20min trip back to my house frpm my dads.... So hopefully it will be ok tomorro. Thanks

also, keep an eye on the temperature when (if) you have issues-if its cold outside, then your battery may need checking if its not holding charge.

It was fine in the morning... Altho failed mot on front coil, anti roll bar, rear brake binding and 2 side lights
