Hiya Guys,
Currently driving a Stilo JTD, with 17" Blades on however I ended up buying some 17" Team Dynamic Alloys of ebay. I understand that I need the right spigot rings and a set of wooble bolts to fit the after market alloys and that many of you have wobble bolts fitted and don't have a problem.
However I have 2 questions:

1) Will this be classed as a modification, and therefore void my insurance if not declared (was told by a friend it probably would as the alloys weren't made for the car).
2) People seem to put a lot of trust in these wobble bolts and the alloys came with a second hand set. Will they be ok? or would you advise buying a brand new set?

Sorry if theses are simple questions but I am eager to get the new alloys on as soon as winter if over :)
Thanks in advance (y)

The name 'wobble' seems to put more people off, under their correct name of 'PCD correction bolts' they at least sound safer. As above, the wheels are a modification, how you secure them is a matter of safety - PCD correction bolts are perfectly safe as long as you get the right size, pitch, length and taper.

i ran pcd correction bolts and lockers on all my old wagons and with a 20v engine they use to get abuse never had a issue with wobbly bolts, but make sure you get the right spigot rings for the wheels i think i paid about £8 for my spigots and £15 for wobbly bolts
