Whenever it is damp or raining the engine warning light comes on and the car goes into limp mode. The engine still revs up but crawls along at a snails pace. This problem has been occurring for over a year and I have spent a small fortune on repairs. The latest diagnosis from the computer is a faulty fuel sensor but I am not so sure particularly as this was replaced approximately 3 years ago. As it's been dry for the last couple of days all has been well. So this afternoon before I went back to the garage I took it to a car wash and low and behold when I left after 50 yards it went into limp mode! I would be really grateful if anyone could offer any advice or has experienced similar problems? Best wishes, Paul
